How to get ETH on Robinhood Chain

ETH is the native gas asset on Robinhood Chain, so nothing happens in your wallet until some of it is sitting on chain 4663. This is a roundup of the ways to get it there, what each route costs you in time and fees, and the checks that keep the process safe. It assumes you already own ETH somewhere; buying ETH in the first place is a separate topic.
First, a wallet on chain 4663
Any injected EVM wallet works with Robinhood Chain once the network is added: MetaMask, Rabby, Rainbow, Trust, and the rest. If you do add it by hand, the values that matter are the chain ID, 4663 (0x1237 in hex), and the RPC endpoint, https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com. Reject any prompt that shows a different chain ID.
Route 1: the canonical bridge from Ethereum
The canonical way in is the official Arbitrum bridge, reachable through the bridging links at docs.robinhood.com/chain/. Robinhood Chain is built on the Arbitrum Orbit stack, and the portal at portal.arbitrum.io/bridge lists it as a destination.
- Deposits are quick. Moving ETH from Ethereum mainnet to Robinhood Chain typically takes about 10 minutes.
- The deposit transaction is a mainnet transaction. You pay Ethereum gas to start it, which is usually the most expensive part of the whole trip.
- Know the exit terms before you enter. Withdrawing back to Ethereum through the canonical bridge carries a challenge window of roughly 7 days, the standard fraud-proof design of optimistic rollups. That wait applies to canonical exits, not to your funds while they sit on the chain, and fast bridges exist precisely to shortcut it.
The canonical bridge is the conservative choice: no third-party liquidity involved, at the price of mainnet gas on entry and a week on a canonical exit.
Route 2: fast bridges
Fast bridges use a liquidity-provider model: a provider fronts you funds on the destination chain within minutes and charges a small fee for the service. Robinhood's official docs name LI.FI, Relay, Across, Stargate, and Chainlink CCIP as partner bridges.
Fast routes make the most sense in two situations. First, when you are leaving the chain and do not want the 7-day canonical exit. Second, when you are hopping between L2s, where the canonical path would be slow in both directions. Compare quotes before committing; aggregators like LI.FI show fee and arrival estimates across several routes at once, and the spread between providers can be meaningful on larger amounts.
Route 3: from another L2
If your ETH is on Arbitrum One or another L2 rather than mainnet, you can skip mainnet gas entirely. The transfer starts with a cheap L2 transaction and a fast bridge completes it in minutes. What about withdrawing from an exchange?
Do not assume your exchange supports direct withdrawals to Robinhood Chain. Exchange network support changes on its own schedule, and this post will not pretend to know your exchange's current list. Before withdrawing anywhere, open the withdrawal screen and check which networks are actually offered for ETH. If Robinhood Chain is not on the list, the reliable pattern is to withdraw to a chain the exchange does support, such as Ethereum or Arbitrum One, and bridge from there using the routes above.
For new on-ramps generally, treat the official docs at docs.robinhood.com/chain/ as the source of truth. As new routes launch, that is where they will be listed, and a route's absence from the docs is a reason for extra scrutiny.
The safety checklist
Bridging is where most funding mistakes happen, and almost all of them are avoidable with a few habits:
- Reach bridges through official links. Fake bridge sites imitating Robinhood branding exist. Navigate from docs.robinhood.com/chain/ rather than from search ads or links shared in chat groups.
- Verify the chain ID on every wallet prompt. Robinhood Chain is 4663. A prompt showing anything else is wrong by definition.
- Send a test amount first. Fees are low enough that a small trial transfer costs almost nothing and confirms the whole path works before real money follows.

- Remember you are sending to yourself. A standard bridge delivers funds to your own address on the destination chain. Any flow that asks you to send ETH to someone else's deposit address deserves suspicion.
How much ETH do you actually need?
Less than most people bring. Gas on the chain has been costing well under a few cents per transaction as of July 2026, so the gas budget for an active week of trading is trivial. Size your bridge transfer around what you intend to trade, not around fees, and keep a small buffer so your last bit of ETH is never stranded without gas to move it.
